CUMMINGS, Ronald Dale, was born in Gainesville, Texas, December 18, 1943. He battled emphysema for nearly 20 years. On March 28, 2009, he broke the physical bonds of this temporal world and joined the divine in peaceful slumber. His wife of 44 years, Sharon Cummings; his children, Matthew, Samantha (Robert) and Dustin miss him dearly. Ronald was a professional Fireman with the Bellevue Fire dept. and later with Hughes (Raytheon) Plant protection. He was devoted to his family, both immediate and extended. A deacon for the Church of Christ and a devoted member of the church, he was devout in his love of Christ. He loved to sing and is likely singing sweetly at this moment. He was a decent man and my role model. He will be missed. Memorial Services will be held at the Church of Christ located at 145 Country Club Road at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Casa de los Ninos.
