gathering
Dear Charlie, ...
Got yours and Nancy's
emails about George Sat. morning. Called the no. for info and
decided
to head up to Evergreen (an hr. drive) even though we knew we wouldn't
get there by 11AM. It was not a funeral, it was what they called
a gathering. I guess kind of like a wake without the booze.
I thought you might like to see the memorial brochure. Howard
scanned
it. Takes my
computer 15 min. to send
it!!!!
Met George's sister, Janice there. She still lives in
Tucson.
I didn't know anyone else there. Howard knew one other mining
person
there. Howard had done business with George over the years since
we were all in the mining game.
