Charlie,
I just received a notice of our 45th class reunion. What a
surprise. I haven't seen or spoken to anyone from our class for
many years.
I had a great time checking the web site you set up and
enjoyed reading some of the posted E Mails.
I too served in Tonkin Gulf just a bit before you. On
the USS Oriskany (CVA-34) with Fighter Squadron 161 and TAD to
CAG 16 and again in 1963-64, same squadron and CAW 16 on the USS
Constellation (CVA-64) in 1965-66.
Since that time I've lived off and on in Tucson, San Diego
and for the last 31 years in several cities in southern Oregon working
in the commercial art field (communications design and
illustration). I've recently moved into semi-retirement so that I might
be able to spend a bit more time working on my fine art endeavors.
Drop me a line if you have a chance.
