Reunion
2002

Rick,
Thanks for the note. Looks like you see a lot more of the gang than I do. I am trying to stay connected, but it is not easy since I only get back to Tucson for reunions. No family there anymore.
I had forgotten that we were both in the Tucson Boys' Band together, although I still have a band picture around here somewhere that probably has both of us in it. Last I heard about them, Charles Hall (the original director) had run off with a mom. I do remember that you were a most excellent drummer, of course!
I have exchanged emails with some of the crew that you listed, putting most of the email on http://technidigm.org/amphi62.htm in case anyone else is interested. I will eventually put your messages and picture on that site, as well as anything else such as pictures and other electronic files that I get. Probably need to encourage more people to send me stuff to upload/link or (possibly) to save for a class reunion CD.
From some of these messages, and as indicated in the reunion
section
of classmates.com, I think we are currently planning the 40th reunion
to
coincide with the fall homecoming. Friday October 25th
seems
to be the big school event/football game(?). I assume
that
we will do other things on Saturday.
Regards,
Charlie Jones
Hey Charlie,
Great to hear from you. How funny! I was thinking of you and Ron a couple of days ago. I was turning off of Prince Road, on my way to see my parents. They still live on Lind Road by Vine. Then I also remembered that we played in the Tucson Boys Band at the same time. Do you recall???? Then I also remembered I forgot to look you up when I lived in Bel Air, Maryland. That was in 1994 and 1995. I was very busy with business, and hardly had any free time at all. We were in Maryland for 14 months and then moved back to Tucson.
So who's around Tucson. I see Sherri Zeller, David Burns, Nancy Hillhouse (Ruhl), Ken Orms, Gary Gibson and Joe Hardy, once and a while, but that's about it. Larry Vance moved to Florida, and I haven't talked to Bob Nichols in 5 years. I had talked with Glenn Ezell (via the net) when he was managing the Mud Hens a few yeas ago, but have no idea about him today. Give me an update if you have time.
Well, thanks for dropping me a line................stay in touch. I will definitely be going to our 40th.
Rick
