Hi Charlie,

It looks like you are still having fun.  My new email address is viva@txucom.net.  I now live in Montgomery, Texas which is about 60 miles North of Houston.  Finally green trees, grass, water, etc.  and, of course, Humidity.  Jim hates the humidity but I love not being the lizard lady.  The beauty outweighs the humidity any day for me.

I am still consulting, auditing, and training people to the ISO Standard.  I have also expanded to helping companies bring the Spirit back into the Workplace.  This is based on a book titled "The New Agreements" by David Dibble.  The premise is that the frustration level of the employees indicates the systems that aren't working within a company.  Frustration takes away from creativity and thus affects the bottomline.  I see that all of the time, so I have taken this as a personal mission to help companies become more aware of the actions and processes that are creating negativity (lack of progress) in a company through workshops, one on one coaching and retreats.  My goal is to assist companies into making their workplace a happy place.

So, what is new with you?  We have another grandchild.  That makes two for me and two for Jim.

I hope this finds you in great spirits,

Love and laughter,

Vicki

You are doing a fabulous job.  I am all for the 60th.  Margie, Suzanne, Joanne, David, and I have already started planning to go to Spain for our 60th.  The more the merrier.

Vicki,

Those are good ideas.  I have not been on a cruise since I was the operations officer on the USS
Bainbridge, a nuclear powered missile cruiser, 22 years ago.  That was a six month cruise to the
Western Pacific (Philippines, Australia, Thailand,  Hong Kong, Japan, and Tonga).  Ginny got
to visit Hong Kong and the Philippines while we were in port there.  Maybe a sub-group of folks
would want to do that, or even take a group trip to China or something.

I suspect that the resort near Tucson (other than Leisure World) will ring more true to the ears
of most folks.  While we are older and more flexible, it would seem that summer months are still
better for a lot of people.  There is always the prospect of doing it during the regular
homecoming week, whenever that is, but that would be during the school year.  In our case,
Ginny would have to take time off from teaching school, but that is still a possibility.

Hi Charlie,

Amen to the fun part.  I guess my reaction to the planning portion is a team effort sounds good
to me.  The first decision has to be when and where the reunion is to be held.  We may be a little
more flexible at this point in our life.  We may want to consider some options such as a class
cruise, an off site place where the experience is truly an experience.  If everyone was in a
situation where the everyday family concerns were put on hold by being physically removed
from their comfort zone the experience might be more fun.  Maybe a resort or something on the
outskirts of Tucson.  I believe Nancy told me that she gave all of the reunion stuff to Sherry
Zeller.  Either way this is fun doing it electronically.  I am in Austin, TX teaching a course this
week and I am communicating with you in Maryland.  COOL Huh!!!

I sent your e-mail to Margaret Ramsey.  She is also excited about this.  Keep typing!

Vicki,

Thanks for the note!  Always good to make contact with friends. Yes it is fun!

My brother, Ron, likes to be called Bill these days. He got used to the idea when he went into the Air Force after graduating from high school.  He is semi-retired now, having taken an early retirement from Southern California Edison.  Guess I need to get his info on the web site too.

I have not been back to Tucson since the 92 reunion. That was a great time we had, and well done by the committee.  By the way, the nuclear industry passes job info needs back and forth on the web, . The name isn't the greatest, but once in a while they have some need for QA folks, but often with nuclear experience. Just thought you might be interested in looking at the page.

Hi Charlie:

Isn't this fun? It was fantastic that you found Joanne, who in turn knew where Margaret Ramsey Craven, Suzanne and I are.  David Hardin is also back in Tucson.  It seems like everyone is migrating back to their roots. Ha, what roots.

I have my own business in the ISO 9000 Quality System Management industry.    I do consulting, training, and auditing. I am in Honolulu today (I used to joke about having a job in Hawaii).

How is Ron doing? I will send your e-mail address to Margaret.  Nancy Ruhl sent me her e-mail address, and says that Sherri Zeller has all of the stuff from our 30th.  It would be great if we could do this by  e-mail.

Hope to see you some day.  Do you ever come back to Tucson?

See ya,
Vicki
